Curriculum

Science

Science is offered at Single Award and Double Award level at GCSE.

It's easy to forget that Science is everywhere: just about everything, from the mobile

phones that we use, to the gel we put on our hair, involves Science somehow.

Science gives you the best options to expand your career opportunities, whatever path

you take. The analytical, problem-solving skills you gain from studying Science are quite possibly the most useful skills you can get and employers are always keen to take on people with a Science

background.

CCEA Double Award Science

The Double Award Science Course at GCSE incorporates the skills, knowledge and understanding of how science works. The specification allows students to develop transferable skills that will benefit them.
