Care & Support
The College offers excellent pastoral care and a wide ranging induction programme to ease and support the transition to secondary school. We pride ourselves on developing self-esteem and independence in our pupils, in addition to providing learning tailored to each pupil’s needs.
All our staff complete annual Child Protection training and are well versed in the College’s Pastoral Policy. Appropriate pastoral interventions and support are made available when required. The College naturally adopts a zero-tolerance policy to bullying, and we aim to create an atmosphere where pupils can flourish and develop into rounded, capable young people. The College also provides a facility for pupils to speak to a Councillor, in confidence, on a weekly basis. We hold regular Open Days and Parent-Teacher meetings to help provide support and information to parents, and we welcome the opportunity to give and receive feedback from parents regarding their children.
